We would like to welcome all of our new parents and children to Rothley Park Kindergarten
OFSTED - OUTSTANDING
Our Ofsted inspection was carried out by our Local Authority on Monday 23 January by two inspectors, we are exceptionally pleased to confirm that the quality and standards of our early year’s provision has been graded as “OUTSTANDING”. The 4 keys areas of the inspection are:
Effectiveness of the leadership and management.....Outstanding = 1
Quality of teaching, learning and assessment...........Outstanding = 1
Personal development, behaviour and welfare..........Outstanding = 1
Outcomes for children..............................................Outstanding = 1
Our full report will be published on the Ofsted site within two weeks for all parents to view. There will also be a copy in our main reception and the bungalow to view. We would like this opportunity to thank all our nursery practitioners and parents for their continuing support.
Free Early Education Entitlement
FEEE is available to all children the term following their third birthday, for a minimum of 38 week’s per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 and 15 weeks. The funding hours will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us in the office if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding.
If your contact details change could you please notify the office, so that we can change the details on our database. This is for the safety of your child in case of an emergency. Thank you.
As the weather is now getting cold and wet could you please provide indoor and outdoor shoes. i.e. wellingtons and slippers. Also a warm coat, gloves and a hat so we can keep all the children wrapped up when we go outside to play. Please ensure that all items are labelled with your child’s name. Thank you.
Collection of Children
Could we please remind you that we do need to be informed if anyone different is picking up your child. A form is in the office to be filled out leaving all descriptions and contact details of the designated person collecting on that day.
Early Morning Risers
We have noticed that an increasing number of parents are arriving very early in the morning. Please note that staff are required to use the time before 8:00am to prep. the day’s activities, therefore they are not permitted to take on the responsibility of your child any earlier than 8:00am, the time nursery is officially open. This is also to comply with Ofsted and insurance requirements.
