We would like to welcome all of our new parents and children to Rothley Park Kindergarten
Childcare Choices - Tax Free Childcare
As you may be aware the Government has introduced a tax free childcare scheme and some of our parents are currently using the scheme to pay their fee invoices. Unfortunately, the HMRC are less than helpful with their reference numbers and we are, therefore, unable to allocate payments to the relevant accounts. May we request that any parents using this service to pay their fees inform the office of their allocated reference number so that we can match payments received to the correct account.
For any parents not using the scheme please go to the HMRC web site at www.childcare-support.tax.service.gov.uk where you will find all the information you need to use the service.
Mobile and Other Recoding Devices
To ensure the safety and welfare of children in our care we operate a personal mobile phone usage policy which stipulates that personal mobile phones cannot be used by parents, visitors or staff when in the presence of children, on the premises. All staff mobile phones are placed on silence or switched off and are kept in their lockers. Staff can only use their mobile mobiles within the restricted (staffroom) area. As a reminder ‘Phone Prohibited’ signs are displayed at the entrance of both nursery and the bungalow premises. A sign is also on display outside the nursery staff room. Our main priority is the safety of your children and we thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
Free Early Education Entitlement
FEEE is available to all children the term following their third birthday, for a minimum of 38 week’s per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 and 15 weeks. The funding hours will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us in the office if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding.
On Monday 27th November we are holding a Parent's Evening between 6.30pm – 8.00pm. All parents are welcome. Closer to the time the staff in each room will place a timetable on the door with your child’s name and their key worker. Just add your child’s name against the time you wish to attend.
Children In Need
On Friday 17 November we are inviting the children to come into nursery dressed up to help support Children In Need and we are asking for a minimum donation of £1 per child. The theme this year is your choice; superhero, pyjamas, or travel back in time to the 80’s! However, you can dress your child in anything to recognise the day. Thank you for your cooperation.
We would like to wish all of our parents a Happy Diwali, for the forthcoming celebrations.
