We would like to welcome all our new parents and children to Rothley Park Kindergarten.

Car Parking

Can we please remind parents to be more vigilant when parking in the nursery grounds, as children, parents and staff are arriving and vacating the buildings at all times. Can you please ensure that you park your cars safely within the three parking areas. If there are no spaces directly in front of the nursery or bungalow, then please use the main car park. Our main priority is the safety of your children, and we thank you for your co-operation.

MOST IMPORTANT - PLEASE DO NOT COME TO NURSERY IF ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY IS DISPLAYING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19. THESE SYMPTOMS ALSO INCLUDE A COLD, RUNNY NOSE AND DIARRHOEA. PLEASE INFORM NURSERY IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT DELAY.

Late Collection of Children

All children attending 8am – 1pm must be collected no later than 1pm. This is a requirement due to the child staff ratios and the afternoon children attending. Could we please remind you also that the nursery does close at 6.00 pm and fees for late collection will automatically be added to your account.

Children In Need

Week commencing Monday 14th to Friday 18th November we are inviting the children to come into nursery dressed up to support Children in Need. We are asking for a minimum donation of £1.00 per child. The theme this year is your own choice - superhero, pajamas. However, you can dress your child in anything to recognise the day. Thank you for your co-operation.

Christmas Parties

We will be having Christmas party teas for the children on Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th December. The children will enjoy party games, along with Christmas songs, and lots of fun.

November Reports

All children will receive their report in November. The report will inform you of your child’s progress, it will also include pieces of artwork that your child has created.

Christmas Dates For Your Diary

The Nursery will be closing for Christmas on Friday 23rd December at 6pm, and we will be re-open on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 at 8am.

Free Early Education Entitlement

FEEE is available to all children the term following their third birthday, for a minimum of 38 weeks per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 weeks and 15 weeks. The deduction will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding. Please provide your Child’s Birth Certificate to validate your Claim.
All new parents will be invited to discuss the funding system with the Manager before their eligibility claim date.
