DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

The Nursery will be closing for Christmas on Friday 22nd December at 6pm, and we will then re-open on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 at 8am.We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Late Collection of Children

All children attending 8am – 1pm must be collected no later than 1pm. This is a requirement due to the child staff ratios and the afternoon children attending. Could we please remind you also that the nursery does close at 6.00 pm and fees for late collection will automatically be added to your account.

Free Early Education Entitlement

FEEE is available to all children the term following their third birthday, for a minimum of 38 weeks per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 weeks and 15 weeks. The deduction will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding. Please provide your Child’s Birth Certificate to validate your Claim.
All new parents will be invited to discuss the funding system with the Manager before their eligibility claim date.

SUMMER PERIOD ENTITLEMENT 2024 – 11 WEEKS IN TOTAL
April – 3 weeks: May- 3 weeks: June - 3 weeks: July – 2 weeks

AUTUMN PERIOD 2023 -15 WEEKS IN TOTAL
September - 4 weeks: October – 4 weeks: November – 4 weeks: December – 3 weeks

Food Brought In From Home

For allergenic reasons please do not bring in any food from home for any of the children. We cannot afford to take the risk of any child or adult having a reaction to the ingredients, i.e. nuts, dairy, etc..

Car Parking

Can we please remind parents to be more vigilant when parking in the nursery grounds, as children, parents and staff are arriving and vacating the buildings at all times. Can you please ensure that you park your cars safely within the three parking areas. If there are no spaces directly in front of the nursery or bungalow, then please use the main car park. Our main priority is the safety of your children, and we thank you for your co-operation.

CHRISTMAS PARTIES

The children’s Christmas party will take place on Tuesday 12th December between 3.00pm- 4.30pm. if your child/ren do not attend nursery on a Tuesday, your child is more than welcome to attend but we ask that they are accompanied by a parent/ carer. Unfortunately, sibling will not be able to attend. If you could let the nursery practitioners in your child’s room know if you intend to come, this would be greatly appreciated.

Children In Need

Week commencing Monday 13th to Friday 17th November we are inviting the children to come into nursery dressed up to support Children in Need, we are asking for a minimum donation of £1.00 per child. The theme this year is your own choice and you can dress your child in anything to recognise the day. Thank you for your co-operation.
