Welcome
We would like to welcome all of our new children and parents to Rothley Park Kindergarten.
Shae Colford
As you are aware it was with great sadness that we had learned of the death of Shae whilst on holiday with his parents. We cannot express sufficiently our sadness at this tragic loss and our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this time.
In Shae’s memory, parents Daniel and Jenna would like to place a memorial bench near to his resting place in the cemetery. If any parents would like to make a donation, this will be much appreciated. A donation box is located in our reception area. We thank you for your support.
Rothley Park Kindergarten are also in discussions with both Daniel and Jenna with regard to creating an area in the nursery gardens to erect a new playhouse and, also, plant a tree in Shae’s memory.
Winter Clothing
As the weather is now getting cold and wet could you please bring in some indoor and outdoor shoes i.e. wellingtons and slippers. Also can you bring a warm coat, gloves and a hat so we can keep all the children wrapped up when we go outside to play. Could you please make sure that all of these items are labelled with your child’s full name.
Thank You

On Monday 25th November we are holding a Parents Evening between 6.30pm – 8.00pm. All parents are welcome. Closer to the time the staff in each room will place a timetable on the door with your child’s name and their key worker. Just add your child’s name against the time you wish to attend.
Health and Safety
Please can you provide your child with nappies, wipes, creams, Calpol and / or Nurofen when required. We do not have any spares and we are finding it difficult to change your child accordingly in the absence of their own products. This is for your child’s personal requirements and needs.
