Children’s self-confidence is built by taking part in these various opportunities and by exploring their environment. The children are also encouraged to increase their self-care skills such as hand washing and toilet training to ready them for their next rooms.
We also support the children’s understanding of shape, colour and number recognition through various one-to-one or group time activities. Nursery practitioners also provide children with opportunities to encourage independence through a variety of choices, such as snack, dinners, toys, stories, activities and songs.
